I want to read .dbf file on Windows Mobile 5.0 device (Windows CE based devices in general).

Basically, I need to access .dbf file to MK 590 Devices in my application. I don't need all the fields of .dbf file but only a few specific fields of the records.

I can use C# or VB.NET or any native language if that is required.

Any help is much appreciated.

with regards Rakesh

You can't use ADS.net data provider on mobiles because it is based on the ACE. The Advantage Client Engine is only supported on Win 32, Win64 and Linux. For mobiles, you can use the Advantage Web Platform.
