9.0.0.1 - Advantage Client Engine

This Service Update of the Advantage Client Engine (ACE) addresses the
following issues:

  1. Fixed an issue where AdsCopyTableStructure would not reset the starting value for Visual FoxPro autoincrement values back to 1.

  2. Fixed an issue where it was possible for a referential integrity cascade operation on a Visual FoxPro table to cause a memory overrun that would result in 9111 errors on the server.

  3. Fixed an issue where it was possible for incorrect seek keys to be built for Visual FoxPro integer indexes.

  4. Fixed an issue where it was possible to empty (zap) a Visual FoxPro table while it had referential integrity rules.

  5. Fixed an issue where seek operations on Visual FoxPro indexes using the binary concatenation operator (;) could fail to find the correct record.

  6. Fixed an access violation when a scripted stored procedure is created with length greater than 64k.

  7. Fixed an issue where the AdsCopyTable API would fail with a 5096 (encryption not enabled) error or a generic "copy scaled back to local" error message when called on an encrypted VFP table.

  8. Fixed an issue where the AdsEncryptRecord API worked on a table opened with the ADS_VFP table when it should not. AdsEncryptTable should be used instead.

  9. Fixed a bug where the 5033 error is returned incorrectly when calling the AdsDeleteTable() to deleted a table from a local drive.

  10. Fixed a 5066 error with AdsFileToBinary on Visual FoxPro Tables when the binary type is ADS_IMAGE.

  11. Fixed bug with General fields in FoxPro tables where extra data was returned on the buffer.

This Service update includes fixes for the following Advantage Communication Layer issues that have been addressed in previous service updates:

  1. Fixed a 9003 error on the server when a TCP/IP connection switches over to shared memory communication.
