With a NChar field containing characters that are not supported in current ANSI/OEM code page.

Update TableName Set NonUniField=UniField;

Raises "Error 5211: There is an error converting Unicode string to or from code page string. Some Unicode characters cannot be converted to code page characters."

Is there any way (in SQL) to assign only the current code paged supported values to the Char field?

Thanks

No, there is no way to do that with current implementation. The low level conversion function supports replacing nonconvertible characters with a default ANSI code page character but that functionality is not exposed.
