The Advantage .NET Data Provider requires the Microsoft .NET Framework in order to run. In addition, it requires either the Advantage Database Server or Advantage Local Server to provide the underlying data access.
The .NET Framework requires that Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later be installed and requires one of the following:

| • | Microsoft Windows NT 4 (Workstation or Server) with Service Pack 6a |
