While ADS 8 caches the contents of AdsServer.ini (if it exists), ADS monitors this file for changes. As a result, if you change a definition in AdsServer.ini, it is not necessary to restart your server. Shortly after you save changes to AdsServer.ini (almost immediately in most cases), your updated server-side aliases will be ready to use
