Creating a New Table Advantage Data Architect |

Advantage Data Architect (ARC) supports the creation of tables in the following file formats:
| • | Advantage Database Table (ADT) |
| • | Advantage FoxPro Table (DBF) |
| • | Advantage CA-Clipper Table (DBF) |
See ADT Field Types and Specifications and DBF Field Types and Specifications for information on field types and sizes.
To create a new table:
| 1. | Select File | New Table from the menu or right-click on the Tables node in the Connection Repository and select Create. |
| 2. | Choose the type of file to create. |
| 3. | Specify the fields of the table. All fields of a table are required to have name, data type, and optional size specified. |
