This release is unsupported. Downloads provided as a courtesy.

Version:
    9.0.0.7

Notes:

9.0.0.7 - Advantage ODBC Driver

This Service Update of the Advantage ODBC Driver addresses the following issues:

  1. Fixed a bug in the ODBC driver that leaked work areas. It caused the work area count to grow at the server until the connection was released.

  2. Fixed an issue in the ODBC driver that caused the Visual FoxPro DataExplorer utility to produce errors with the text "Indicator variable required but not supplied."

  3. Fixed an issue in the ODBC driver where it was possible for the SQLColAttribute API to return only 2 bytes of a 4 byte value.

  4. Fixed an issue in the ODBC driver that resulted in 5066 errors being generated when reading varbinary fields.

  5. Fixed an issue in the ODBC driver that caused Unicode input parameters to be converted incorrectly.

  6. Fixed an issue with the ODBC driver that incorrectly tried to return NULL for Visual FoxPro column values that were not nullable. The actual error text returned is dependent on the client that is using the driver. Possible errors include "Unspecified Error", "Data provider or other service returned an E_FAIL status", or "Multiple-step operation generated errors."
